What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 28 October 2026 (assessment visit 4 September 2026). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
Date of inspection 18 September 2026: We carried out this assessment to follow up on breaches identified in the previous assessment and to check whether the provider had made the required improvements. Since our last assessment, improvements had been made to the management of safe care and treatment, and the provider’s governance arrangements had been embedded. As a result, the service was no longer in breach of these regulations.

Overall, people received safe care and support. Care plans contained clear information about people’s needs and how staff should support them. Medicines were managed safely. Improvements had been made to help ensure people received their medicines as prescribed.
The provider had also improved the safety of the environment. Refurbishment works had been completed, and environmental risks were being managed effectively.
Governance arrangements had been improved since the last assessment. The provider had established effective systems to monitor the quality and safety of the service, identify concerns and make improvements.
While improvements had been made, we identified a minor issue with the oversight of checks on pressure relieving mattress settings. Managers told us they would make further changes to strengthen oversight in this area. Overall, this did not detract from the positive improvements we found across the service.
