What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 7 May 2025 (assessment visit 10 January 2025). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
Date of Assessment: 13 February 2025 to 27 March 2025. We visited the service on 13 February and 19 February 2025. The service is registered to provide personal care to people living with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorder. At the time of our assessment there were 10 people using the service. We assessed the service because we had not visited since 29 July 2019. We also reviewed shortfalls we found at our last assessment in relation to the governance of the service. At this assessment we found the provider’s governance systems were effective. We have assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. The provider was fully aware of ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ and made sure the service people received fulfilled all aspects of this and other good practice guidance. Care was person-centred and promoted people's dignity, privacy and rights. People were protected from abuse and risks to people were managed well. Staff were recruited safely and there were enough staff to meet people’s needs. Staff were valued and supported with their learning and development. People and staff were encouraged to raise concerns, and these were listened to. Care was person-centred and promoted people's dignity, privacy and human rights. Staff worked with other professionals to make sure people had equal access to services to meet their needs and aspirations. People had opportunities to take part in activities of their choosing and staff supported people to maintain and develop their independence. People had detailed risk assessments and person centred care plans.
