We carried out this assessment to check if the provider had made the required improvements since our last assessment. At the last assessment, the provider was in breach of legal regulations in relation to safe care and treatment and good governance. Improvements were found at this inspection, and the provider was no longer in breach of regulations.
Leadership was visible and effective with improvements in record keeping and audits. The provider had a quality assurance lead who demonstrated a consistent commitment to support the leadership team in driving improvements to improve service delivery across all areas. Staff told us about the improvements, comments included, “A lot of things have improved, we are kept up to date with everything” and “The home in itself is looking better”. A positive culture and continuous improvement were becoming embedded. Risks to people’s health, safety, and wellbeing were assessed and regularly reviewed. There were enough staff to meet people’s needs and support them safely. Staff were kind, compassionate and knew people well. The service was clean, and the environment personalised.
