People’s safety and well-being was maintained. Care and support was tailored to people’s individual needs and preferences. Staffing levels were sufficient, and staff were recruited following thorough background checks to ensure safe care. All staff received appropriate training and supervision to support people effectively and safely. Medicines were administered by staff who were trained and competent in medication management.

Support was delivered by staff who promoted the principles of dignity, privacy, and respect for people. All staff engaged with people in a kind and compassionate manner and people and their relatives confirmed this. Health conditions were continuously monitored in collaboration with appropriate healthcare professionals.

People were supported to exercise maximum choice and control over their lives. Staff worked in the least restrictive way possible, always acting in people’s best interests. The service’s policies and systems reinforced this approach.

People were provided a variety of social activities which they enjoyed. This promoted a sense of belonging and improved people's overall well-being. Seasonal activities were arranged by the management team who invited people, staff, visiting families to celebrate the season. This created enjoyable shared experiences for everyone involved.

The provider and registered manager maintained strong oversight of the service, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Systems were in place to monitor care quality and gather feedback on people’s experiences to drive ongoing development.
