What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 22 May 2026 (assessment visit 15 April 2026). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
Date of Assessment: 27 April to 6 May 2026. This assessment was prompted by a review of the information we held about the service. Richmoe Healthcare provides care and support for adults of a broad range of ages, including people with physical disabilities and complex health needs. Not everyone who used the service was receiving the regulated activities of personal care or treatment of disease, disorder or injury. At the time of our inspection, they were supporting 41 people, who were in receipt of regulated care. This was our first inspection of the service.

People received good-quality care that promoted positive outcomes, including maintaining independence, managing health conditions, and support to access healthcare services.
The provider supported both older people and those with complex health needs in their own homes. People’s needs were clearly outlined in their care plans, and staff had received training in specialist areas when supporting with care tasks related to the management of health and medical conditions.
The registered manager and senior staff were actively involved in the day-to-day running of the service. They understood people’s needs well, supported staff to improve their practice, and acted to promote continuity and consistency in people’s care.
The registered manager held qualifications relevant to the regulated activity of Treatment of Disease Disorder or Injury and demonstrated a clear understanding of their role and regulatory responsibilities.
The provider had effective systems in place to monitor and improve the quality of care. These included an electronic system to monitor care in ‘real time’ and regular audits of care records to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Where the provider received feedback from people or stakeholders that improvements were required, the registered manager was receptive, making changes to systems and individual care arrangements as needed.
The service was registered for use by autistic people or people with a learning disability. At the time of the assessment, the service was not supporting any autistic people or people with a learning disability, but the provider had regard to ‘Right support, right care, right culture’.
