What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 22 July 2026 (assessment visit 16 June 2026). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

Date of assessment: 23 June to 1 July 2026. The service is a domiciliary care agency (DCA) registered to provide personal care to people who may be living with dementia, sensory impairment and / or physical disability. People were supported with their personal care needs to enable them to live in their own homes and promote their independence. Not everyone who used the service received the regulated activity of personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This relates to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. At the time of the assessment the service supported 12 people with personal care. This assessment was completed due to the length of time since the last ratings inspection.
The provider managed risks well and addressed any issues openly and honestly and took actions to help improve the safety of the service. Care plans and risk assessments were clear and up to date. Staff followed these to help ensure people received consistent care and monitored people’s health care needs effectively.
Staff worked well with a range of other health and social care professionals to help promote positive healthcare outcomes for people. Staff were knowledgeable on people’s care needs, and this helped them provide person-centred care. The provider had recruited staff who were suitable to work in care and staff worked well together as well as working positively with other health and social care professionals. Staff enjoyed working for the company and felt valued and supported.
The provider had systems in place to regularly check on the quality and safety of services. These helped to drive forward any improvements. Staff were confident to speak up and raise any concerns or comments and felt they would be listened to.
