People were supported by a workforce that was recruited safely and provided with comprehensive induction training, including opportunities to shadow experienced staff before working independently. Staff worked within small, consistent teams, which enabled them to build trusting relationships with people and develop a detailed understanding of their individual needs, preferences, and routines.
People's care needs and risks were regularly assessed and reviewed to ensure support remained safe, effective, and responsive to changing circumstances. Where incidents occurred or concerns were raised, the provider responded promptly, conducted appropriate investigations, and shared feedback and learning to reduce the risk of recurrence.
People received their medicines safely from trained and competent staff. Robust governance and auditing processes were in place to monitor medicines management, ensuring any errors or omissions were identified quickly and acted upon without delay.
The provider promoted a culture of kindness, compassion, and respect, where people's dignity, rights, and choices were consistently upheld. Staff knew people exceptionally well and were able to recognise subtle changes in their health and wellbeing, taking timely action to secure appropriate support and maintain positive outcomes. This person-centred approach ensured people received safe, compassionate care from staff who genuinely understood and valued them.
