What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 31 July 2026 (assessment visit 10 July 2026). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

Date of assessment: 10 July 2026 to 22 July 2026.

Divine Community Care Limited provides care and support to people living in their own homes. Not everyone using Divine Community Care Limited received a CQC regulated activity; CQC only inspects when the service being received by people is within the definition of the regulated activity of 'personal care’; such as help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where we do, we also consider any wider social care provided. At the time of the assessment, the service was supporting 4 people with personal care.

We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it.

Systems were in place to ensure people were safe when receiving care and support. Risk assessments had been completed to ensure people received safe care. The service recruited staff safely and pre-employment checks were completed. The service established systems to prevent the spread of infections. Staff had been trained to perform their roles effectively and systems were in place for staff to attend calls on time.

Staff cared for people and built positive relationships with them. Staff encouraged people to be independent while respecting their privacy and dignity.

Care plans were person-centred to ensure people received personalised care and support. People’s needs were assessed regularly, and people were included in decisions as part of care planning and reviews.

Quality assurance systems provided oversight of the service. Leaders sought regular feedback from staff, people, and their relatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
