Impressions Care House is a domiciliary care agency providing support to people in their own homes and shared accommodation. Impressions Care House provides care and support to young people, people with a learning disability and autistic people. People were supported with their personal care needs. CQC only inspects the service being received by people provided with 'personal care'; help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also take into account any wider social care provided. At the time of this assessment the service supported 5 people with personal care.

The assessment took place between 12 November 2024 and 21 November 2024. We visited the service on 14 November 2024. We assessed quality statements under the key questions of safe, responsive and caring.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether Impressions Care House guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.

People were safe and protected from harm, procedures in place meant risks were identified and assessed. There were enough staff who were skilled to provide care and support.

People told us staff knew them well and were kind. People were supported to maintain relationships and networks that were important to them. People had access to activities and the local community to promote and support their independence, health and wellbeing.

Good
People received the most appropriate care and treatment for them as the service made reasonable adjustments where necessary.
Care and support plans reflected people’s health and social care needs. Relevant assessments were completed and up to date, from pre-admission through to ongoing reviews of care, including cultural preferences.
