People were protected and kept safe. The service had a positive learning culture and people felt able to raise concerns. Managers investigated incidents thoroughly. Staff understood and managed risks well. The facilities and equipment met people’s needs and were well-maintained. There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience. Managers ensured staff received relevant training and regular supervision and appraisals to maintain quality care.
People and their relatives were involved in needs assessments, which were reviewed regularly by staff. The assessments considered People’s communication, personal and health needs.
