At our last assessment we found the provider was in breach of legal regulation in relation to gaining and recording consent and good governance.

On our assessment we found enough improvements had been made, and the provider was no longer in breach of any regulations.

There were systems and audits in place and there was a good oversight over the home and care delivery. The managers were knowledgeable about the home and the people living there. Staff knew people's care needs and how best to support them. The environment was well maintained, and regular ‘manager walk arounds’ ensured that any improvements needed were highlighted and acted upon. The home worked in collaboration with community professionals to ensure people got the support they needed. The home promoted a culture of continuous learning and ongoing improvement.

One community professional told us, "The home has made significant improvements in its reporting practices and communication processes. The service demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting and maintaining the wellbeing of people living in the home and has a positive track record in preventing avoidable hospital admissions through proactive care and effective support strategies.”
