What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 22 April 2026 (assessment visit 11 February 2026). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

The provider had a strong, values‑driven culture with inclusive, visible leadership. They had created a warm, caring, and personalised service where people and families felt welcomed and valued. Staff were compassionate, responsive and supported people to maintain their independence, hobbies and community connections. Care was extremely individualised, shaped by people's life stories and personal preferences, and people and their families reported they had experienced clear improvements in their health and well-being. The provider had a strong safety culture, and staff felt confident to raise safeguarding concerns. Learning from incidents was shared effectively, both within the service and with people. Care was safe and well-coordinated, and risks were managed using assessments and supportive technology. The service was clean and well maintained. Staff were recruited safely and were supported through regular training and supervision. Infection control was well managed, and medicines were administered as prescribed. The provider delivered personalised, well‑coordinated care that adapted as people’s needs changed. People’s care plans were regularly discussed with them and their families, which supported staff to deliver effective, person‑centred care. Staff monitored people closely and responded quickly to changes in their needs, working closely with health professionals. These strong partnerships with health and community services ensured people’s care was joined‑up. Activities within the service and wider community supported people’s wellbeing and independence. Communication was clear and accessible, feedback led to improvements, and barriers to care were reduced through helpful adaptations. Support was tailored to individual needs for those most at risk. People were supported to plan, including for end‑of‑life care, with sensitive and compassionate guidance. A strong, supportive workplace culture meant staff felt valued and motivated, with achievements celebrated and teamwork consistently praised. People, relatives and staff felt able to speak up, and feedback led to clear improvements. Governance systems and processes were effective and this, combined with a focus on learning and innovation, drove continuous improvement and development of the service.
