What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 19 May 2025 (assessment visit 28 January 2025). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

Date of assessment 6 and 7 February and 11 March 2025. Pinglenook Residential Care Home is a ‘care home’ providing accommodation and personal care and support to older people, and people living with dementia. At the time of the assessment, the service was supporting 14 people. This is the first assessment of this service under a new provider. During this inspection we found 1 breach of regulation in relation to good governance of the service. The providers governance systems and processes for auditing and monitoring of the environment, and quality assurance were not always effective.
