What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 23 July 2025 (assessment visit 16 May 2025). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
We carried out our assessment of this service between 27 May 2025 to 03 June 2025. Angels Care Solutions provides care to people living in their own home. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is to help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social provided. At the time of the assessment there was 170 people receiving personal care.
We assessed the service against ‘right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.

We had previously inspected this service in October 2018 when it was rated good overall. Our ratings did not change as a result of this assessment and the service remains good.
During the assessment we spoke with 34 people who use the service and their relatives, 10 care staff, 2 care managers, 2 care co-ordinators, 1 field supervisor, 1 director and the registered manager for their feedback about the service.
This was a planned assessment of all quality statements under the key questions of safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led. We carried out the site visit on 28 and 29 May 2025. We gave the service 24 hours’ notice of the assessment. This was because we wanted to make sure someone would be available to support us with the assessment.
Risks were identified and were assessed to ensure people received safe care. People told us they felt safe when receiving support from staff. Staff were aware of how to safeguard people from abuse. Systems were in place to prevent and minimise the spread of infections when supporting people. Pre-employment checks had been carried out to ensure staff were suitable to work with vulnerable people. Medicines were being managed safely.
People were supported by staff who were safely recruited and had the relevant training and qualifications to safely support them. People received care from staff who were caring and had a good relationship with them. Staff respected people’s privacy and dignity. People were encouraged to be independent and to carry out tasks without support.
People's needs were assessed prior to the commencement of the service. The assessment included people's health, physical and emotional as well as communication needs. People received person-centred care. Care plans had been reviewed regularly to ensure they were accurate. Systems were in place to manage complaints and people’s communication needs were met.
Systems to monitor the quality and safety of the service were in place. Staff reported having a positive relationship with the provider and felt communication was effective. Quality monitoring systems allowed for the effective monitoring of the service by the provider.
