Key findings
We carried out this assessment between 13 August and 7 September 2026. This service was previously rated as good. We carried out this assessment to confirm whether the rating of good remains accurate. This report does not provide detailed information on areas where we found practice continues to meet a good standard. Instead, our findings focus on any areas where the service needs to improve or where we found exceptional practice.
The provider assessed people’s needs and abilities and used the information to develop personalised care plans. These were adapted to reflect people’s changing needs and progression. Staff encouraged people to participate in their care wherever possible, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management and daily living activities. This helped promote positive outcomes and improve wellbeing.
The provider had a positive approach to investigating and learning from incidents. Regular audits were effective in identifying and addressing shortfalls quickly.
Staff were passionate about the care they provided and were committed to supporting people to remain independent. A staff member told us, “The deep personal satisfaction of helping people regain their independence at home is very rewarding.” Staff described a caring culture and demonstrated a clear understanding of the service's reablement focus.
Professionals spoke highly of the service and described staff as reliable, knowledgeable, responsive and committed to achieving positive outcomes. Professionals described the service's ability to support timely hospital discharges and effective joint working with health and social care partners.
