We assessed a small number of quality statements from the safe, caring and responsive key questions and found areas of good practice. The scores for these areas have been combined with scores based on the key question ratings from the last inspection.

People were protected and kept safe. Staff understood and managed risks. There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience. Managers made sure staff received training to maintain high-quality care.

The majority of care plans contained detailed information about people’s lives before moving into the home, as well as information about who was important in their lives. However, one or two care plans needed updates to ensure they accurately reflected people’s needs and included more personalised information. The provider worked closely with multiple agencies to ensure safe, effective care and to promote independence. The provider maintained links with the local community, which people could access if they wished.
