What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 21 October 2024 (assessment visit 15 April 2024). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
Date of assessment 17 April 2024. This inspection was prompted following information of concern about potential safeguarding issues. We looked at 1 Key Question and 3 Quality Statements during this assessment. At the last inspection in January 2019 the service was rated as Good. At this inspection we found the service continued to be Good. Mental capacity Act records and training were in place to ensure staff were aware of their responsibility to protect vulnerable adults. Where risks were present, national guidance was followed to investigate and reduce the likelihood of repeat events.

Safe
Good
We assessed three Quality Statements in the Safe Key Question. There was a positive open culture in which concerns about safety were listened to, safety events were reported, investigated and lessons learnt to identify where improvements were required. Although care documentation and reviews did not always contain enough detail in the way people’s risk were managed, the actions in place were appropriate. As part of the assessment we looked at staffing levels to ensure effective, safe care was being provided which met people’s individual’s needs.
