The provider was not always working within the principles of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) 2005 and appropriate legal authorisations. We discussed these concerns with the registered manager who shared evidence of improvements they have made thus far. Staff understood and managed risks to people’s safety. There were enough staff with the right skills, qualifications and experience. The provider made sure staff received training and regular supervision to maintain high-quality care.
