This planned assessment was brought forward due to information of concern about the quality of care in the service. We found no evidence of ongoing concern or harm to people.

Care plans and risk assessments reflected people’s assessed needs and helped staff to support people. The provider was committed to developing and maintaining a stable staff team to ensure best outcomes for people.

The management team were open and approachable. There were effective systems in place to monitor the quality and safety of the service and actions were taken as needed.

We found improvements had been made since the last inspection and systems introduced to ensure quality and safety in the service were now embedded. Areas identified for improvement on the day of inspection were raised with the provider. The provider was responsive and took action to resolve these.
