People’s care records were detailed and explained how they wanted to be supported. People’s views were sought through regular meetings. However, more work was needed to ensure people received ongoing feedback on any changes made based on their views and suggestions. People received kind and compassionate end of life care, from staff who had been trained and were supported by other professionals, such as district nurses and the local hospice.
People, relatives and staff told us the home was well run, and they would happily recommend it. The home had a clear management structure, who were reported to be approachable and always available.
