Carepoint t/a Alternative Care is a domiciliary care service providing personal care to people with a variety of needs including dementia, physical disability and sensory impairment. Older people and younger adults, including people with learning disabilities and/or autistic spectrum disorder. People are supported in their own homes, at the time of this inspection, 183 people were receiving personal care from the service. Not everyone who used the service received personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided.
