What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 28 December 2024 (assessment visit 17 September 2024). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

This assessment took place between 12 and 25 November 2024. This was the first assessment of the service since it was registered on 7 February 2023. We carried out this assessment to make sure the provider was meeting required standards. The registered manager was also the nominated individual and main director for the company. Elsie's Help at Home Limited is a domiciliary care service that provides personal care to older people, including people who may live with dementia living in their own homes. At the time of our assessment there were 54 people using the service and 39 were receiving the regulated activity personal care. CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. People received safe care and support. Medicines were managed safely. Staff were well trained and supported. The registered manager had good oversight of the service and had started to strengthen governance arrangements.
