What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 25 November 2024 (assessment visit 2 August 2024). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

The assessment was carried out between 19 August 2024 to 16 October 2024 in response to CQC receiving information of concern. We made phone calls on 27 and 30 August 2024 and spoke with six people, who were receiving care and support and/or their family members, reviewed three care plans and spoke with members of staff. We announced our visit to the office and attended on 24 and 29 September 2024 to corroborate information with two managers. During this assessment, we looked at 15 quality statements. We assessed these quality statements and the overall rating for the service remains Good.

  1. Safe

    Good

At our last inspection we rated safe as good, this rating remains unchanged. The service was safe and people felt safe receiving support. There were sufficient staff to meet their needs. On the whole, people now had regular staff. Staff and leaders took appropriate actions to ensure people were not left at risk of harm. Care and support was delivered by competent and trained staff. Where people required assistance to manage their medicines, staff did so safely.

  2. Caring

    Good

At our last inspection we rated this question good, this rating remains unchanged. People told us there was only a small staff team, but they were kind and friendly. Staff were caring and compassionate. Staff supported people to maintain their independence and provided care and support that met their individual needs and preferences. People had choice and control about how they wanted to receive their care and support from staff.

  3. Well-led

    Good

At our last inspection we rated this question good, this rating remains unchanged. Systems to assess and monitor the quality and safety of the service were in place. Regular checks and audits ensured compliance. However, these needed further development, to ensure they comprehensively identified and managed any potential risks. People were supported to share information with professionals, as required, to ensure their needs were being met. The provider employed a multi-cultural workforce, and measures were in place to ensure staff were treated fairly, yet not all staff felt this was in place.
