Staff worked collaboratively with people, their relatives, and health and social care professionals to provide person-centred care. The service responded to people's changing needs promptly and effectively. Care plans contained clear guidance for staff on how to provide support.
Leaders maintained effective oversight of the service. They monitored key aspects of care and carried out regular quality assurance checks and audits, taking timely action to ensure safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. They were approachable, supportive and responsive to the needs of both people using the service and staff.
We identified improvements and the provider was no longer in breach of legal regulations in relation to medicines, assessing risks and good governance.
We assessed the service against ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
