HF Trust -117 a & b Hitchin Road is a residential service registered to provide accommodation and nursing or personal care to up to 11 people, who have a learning disability and associated needs. At the time of our inspection the home was fully occupied.

We found the following examples of good practice.
• There was a robust visiting management procedure in place to ensure people living at the service were kept safe.
• The provider adhered to COVID-19 testing regime in line with the government guidance. A designated member of staff had been employed by the provider to monitor and log all staff and residents' test results across all the locations in the region.
• People continued to be supported to safely access local facilities such as parks, shops and cinema, in line with COVID-19 guidance.
• Staff had access to sufficient supplies of personal protective equipment and had been trained in using it correctly.
