The service is arranged across three areas Jasmine, Poppy, and Sunflower. Poppy and Sunflower are located within the main building, while Jasmine is a separate three-storey building adjacent to the main premises.

This was a responsive assessment based on the length of time since the last assessment.

Windle Court had systems and processes in place to deliver safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led care. Governance was supported by regular audits of infection control, medicines, and health and safety. Care planning was evidence-based, with risk assessments, referrals to external professionals, and weekly GP rounds providing clinical oversight.Staff training compliance and supervision were monitored, and workforce development was prioritised. Processes promoted dignity and respect through structured oversight, keyworker systems, and safeguarding policies. Responsiveness was supported by monthly care plan reviews, activity planning, and accessible information standards. Leadership maintained transparency through staff forums, flash meetings, and a comprehensive audit framework. Recruitment was robust, including full pre-employment checks and DBS verification.

However, odour issues were identified in some areas, and the registered manager implemented an action plan including deep cleaning, odour-neutralising products, and continence reviews. Concerns were also raised about staffing levels and communication, which occasionally affected timely updates. The provider acted quickly on feedback by increasing evening staffing in Sunflower and introducing a standard operating procedure to ensure families are informed promptly about health issues, receive updates within 48–72 hours, and have outcomes clearly communicated.
