Walmley Road is a 'care home' for a maximum of four people who are living with a learning disability. People living at the care home receive accommodation and personal care. There were four people living at the home at the time of the inspection.

We found the following examples of good practice.
• Where people or staff had received a positive COVID-19 test, the provider followed national guidance for self-isolation. • Personal protective equipment (PPE) and hand washing stations were available to staff and visitors throughout the home. • A range of visitation options were available to allow people to keep in contact with family and friends. • The arrangement of furniture and daily activities allowed people to remain socially distanced.
We were assured that this service met good infection prevention and control guidelines as a designated care setting.
