What inspectors found

From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 29 April 2024 (assessment visit 9 January 2024). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.

Date of assessment 13 March 2024 to 18 April 2024.

Pratt House provides accommodation for adults and older people requiring personal or nursing care. At the time of our assessment 27 people were living at the service. We found person centred, safe care was provided with risks to people identified and mitigated. Whilst there had been an increase in medicine errors within the service this was identified, and actions taken to promote safe medicine practices. We found some handwritten medicine records were not in line with the provider’s policy and there were gaps in medicine storage temperature records. This was addressed by the registered manager during our visit.
