● The provider and the registered manager had put robust plans in place which ensured people admitted to the service with COVID19 were able to be cared for.

● The provider and the registered manager had reviewed the environment and made decisions on how best to adapt a designated area of the home to minimise the risk of infection. Fire evacuation procedures had been addressed.

● Infection control policies and procedures were in place. Areas of the home were set aside for staff to change PPE. Information was displayed throughout the home to remind staff what PPE they needed to use.

● Suitable arrangements were in place to support relatives visiting people who needed end of life care. Visitors to the home were signposted to the nearest hand washing facilities and had their temperature taken. Hand sanitiser and PPE were also available to visitors.
