Key findings

We carried out this assessment from 04 to 11 September 2026. This service was previously rated as good. We carried out this assessment to confirm whether the rating of good remains accurate. This report does not provide detailed information on areas where we found practice continues to meet a good standard.

People told us they were happy with the standard of care they received from staff. Staff were motivated in their roles and had a good understanding of people’s needs. People and staff had built positive working relationships, which was reflected in the consistency of care staff and care call times.

People received the support they needed and were involved in planning and reviewing their care. Care visits were arranged flexibly to meet people’s changing needs. Staff understood when and where people needed support and recognised when people preferred to do things independently.

Staff received appropriate training and ongoing support in their roles. Senior staff had systems in place to monitor performance and were committed to promoting continuous learning to drive improvement. This included listening to feedback from people, staff, and stakeholders to develop effective working practices and systems for monitoring care.

People told us that senior staff were a visible presence in their day-to-day care. Staff echoed this positive feedback and said leaders were professional, supportive, and fair.

The provider had effective systems in place to support the registered manager in their role. There was regular input from senior management, and the provider had developed action plans in response to findings from audits, incidents, and feedback.

The registered manager had developed positive working partnerships with other stakeholders. This included working with the housing provider to improve procedures relating to business continuity and people’s personal safety.
