We assessed the service against ‘Right support, Right care, Right culture’ guidance to make judgements about whether the provider guaranteed autistic people and people with a learning disability respect, equality, dignity, choices, independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted.
Concerns were shared with external health professionals, promoting partnership working to maintain people’s safety. Staff supported people to be independent. People were treated with kindness, compassion and dignity. Choice and control were promoted to support personalised care.
The service had systems to check quality and safety. These systems helped to identify areas for improvement and support ongoing development. Managers acted promptly to feedback and concerns. One staff member told us, “The registered manager is lovely and will act promptly to resolve any issues raised.”
