What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 19 May 2025 (assessment visit 17 March 2025). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
We carried out our assessment of this service between 20 April 2025 to 02 May 2025. We visited the service on 24 April 2025. Cleveland House is a care home registered to accommodate and support up to 11 people with mental health needs, learning disabilities and/or autism. At the time of the assessment, 11 people were using the service. People living in the home have their own bedrooms and there are shared communal spaces, including lounges, a kitchen and a garden area.
We expect health and social care providers to guarantee people with a learning disability and autistic people respect, equality, dignity, choices and independence and good access to local communities that most people take for granted. ‘Right support, right care, right culture’ is the guidance CQC follows to make assessments and judgements about services supporting people with a learning disability and autistic people and providers must have regard to it.
