CQC only inspects where people receive personal care. This is help with tasks related to personal hygiene and eating. Where they do, we also consider any wider social care provided. This was the first assessment of the service. During the assessment we found, there were systems and processes in place to ensure people were protected from avoidable harm. Staff were recruited safely and trained to ensure they had the necessary skills. Risks to people were identified, assessed and measures were put in place to minimise risks. Safeguarding procedures were in place however feedback from external professionals indicated the provider could improve their responses to reduce delays.
