What inspectors found
From the Care Quality Commission's assessment published 16 June 2025 (assessment visit 16 April 2025). Quoted under the Open Government Licence.
Date of Assessment 28 April 2025. This service is a residential care home providing support to older people, including people living with dementia. The service can support a maximum of 40 residents, at the time of our assessment 36 residents were living at the service. We carried out a comprehensive assessment of the service covering all quality statements, in all key questions. At this assessment, we found the people that lived there were protected and kept safe from harm. People told us they felt looked after at the service. One person told us, “I feel very safe here.” Staff knew the needs of the people they cared for well and were observed to have positive interactions with people. Staff at the service told us they felt supported by the management team on site and were able to work well as a team. One staff member told us, “Our communication is good. I enjoy my job. It’s a nice environment to work in and keeping the people that live here happy, is the best part.” People’s care was personalised and detailed their preferences. However, we found that some areas of record keeping required improvement in relation to people’s weights, nutritional intake and behaviour monitoring.
